On December 30, 2024, Zhejiang DTCT Data Technology Co., Ltd., jointly with the magazine Intelligent Building Electrical Technology, hosted the 14th Intelligent Building Electrical Salon in Ningbo. More than 20 senior technical representatives from well-known enterprises and design institutions attended, including Ouyang Dong, Expert Receiving Special Government Allowance of the State Council, President of Electrical Branch of China Engineering & Consulting Association, Director of Electrical Branch of China Building Energy Conservation Association and Consulting Chief Engineer of China Construction Technology Group Co., Ltd., as well as other experts with State Council special allowance, provincial design masters and chief engineers of famous design institutes.

During the meeting, focusing on the theme of 'AI + Micro Data Center Application', participating experts conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions and reached the following consensus recommendations for industry development:

1. Modular micro data centers enjoy broad market prospects. We advocate product modularization, engineering productization, standardized solutions and intelligent O&M, and intensify market expansion at home and abroad.

2. Conduct in-depth research on domestic and international market demands for modular micro data centers across various industries, identify and solve problems, and explore new business growth points.

3. Improve technical and economic indicators of modular micro data centers, with focus on equipment efficiency and construction cost.

4. Attach importance to data collection, storage and governance of O&M platforms to lay a foundation for data assetization.

5. Take the opportunity of promoting whole-process engineering consulting services to facilitate popularization of modular micro data center technologies.

6. Attach importance to cultivation of interdisciplinary talents proficient in AI & electrical technology, as well as talents with both technical and marketing capabilities.

7. Attach importance to R&D of new technologies and products including radiation-proof cabinets, dedicated battery cabinets and high-power liquid cooling cabinets.

The expert panel fully recognized DTCT’s achievements in green and low-carbon development. It is expected that through salon discussions and exchanges, DTCT can better grasp the development trend of digital intelligence, tap potential opportunities, and jointly promote the steady development of the data center industry towards low-carbon, smart, AI-driven and micro-modular directions.
