Ultra HD Makes Audio-visual Life Better
On April 24, the Ultra HD Full-industry Chain Innovation & Development Summit of CCBN2024, the 30th China Content Broadcasting Network Exhibition, was successfully held at Shougang Exhibition & Convention Center in Beijing. Guided by the Science and Technology Department of the National Radio and Television Administration, the summit was hosted by the Academy of Broadcasting Science, NRTA and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Radio and Television.
Ningbo Radio & TV Group and DTCT were invited to attend the summit and deliver keynote reports.

Chang Jian, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of NRTA, delivered an opening address. He illustrated features and significance of the ultra HD industry, pointed out existing challenges and gaps with international peers, and clarified development priorities and implementation directions in accordance with NRTA’s deployment.
Chang Jian stated that the Chinese government attaches great importance to the ultra HD audio-visual industry. R&D of ultra HD audio-visual technologies and equipment has been included in the 14th Five-Year Plan and the Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035. Under NRTA’s overall arrangement, ultra HD development will be a core priority. NRTA will further promote the ultra HD audio-visual industry from three aspects: enhancing planning guidance, strengthening inter-departmental and regional coordination, and advancing full-chain integration.
